The design studio Diederendirrix transformed the former Philips Lighting headquarters into housings. They preserved the identity of the building, keeping its structure while developing a new façade for efficiency and comfort.
The façade plays with light using horizontal sliding windows as a frame for the building's surroundings and evokes the original building's horizontality.
Our vertical blinds introduce a new scale into each loft and apartment, acting as the interior decoration element in a context where the industrial style prevails. They are chosen for their easy orientation, light management, and their ability to enhance the high ceiling.
