Located in the well-known Madrid neighborhood of Mirasierra, the Villanueva University Center, attached to the Complutense University of Madrid, is well-known for having its own university model specialized in Social Sciences and Health Sciences.
The Martín Escanciano design studio has been chosen to carry out the design project of the classrooms equipped with the most advanced technology, seminars with furniture designed for Agile and Design Thinking methodologies and offices with high design level furniture, that are both functional and elegant.
For the choice of shades, the main aesthetic requirement was the use of the purest white tone with which the studio intended to fill with light every corner of a building designed to represent knowledge, and to encourage team learning and research. For this, Premium Plus roller shades have been installed with Polyscreen® 403 fabric in white.
In addition to fitting in with the aesthetics of the building, the chosen Bandalux systems also fulfill an important technical requirement, since the Polyscreen® 403 fabric allows controlling the entrance of light thanks to its 3% opening; thus achieving the highest performance of teachers and students, the work and teaching space are divided into different facades.
