A winner of the AMO 2016 Award, the new headquarters of Transport et Infrastructures Gaz France (TIGF), located in Pau, France, was created in compliance with High Environmental Quality (HEQ) standards. This truly innovative building, designed by the architectural firm Agence 360º, is presented in the shape of a large ring (with a circumference of 100 metres), boasting no less than 10,000 m2 of offices all along its circular edge.
For this unique building, and to offer a customised design product, the Bandalux R&D service opted for vertical blinds with no chain in the lower section: each vertical strip presents an haute couture finish, with the insertion of an invisible slat weight, to ensure the perfectly flat uniformity of the shade throughout the entire surface of the fabric in all of its positions. And finally, the absolute must: all of the tracks and accessories were provided in the coordinated colours for the total harmony of the system and its accessories.
