To suit the vision of the promoter HINES, the project by Carmody Groarke and Calzoni Architetti transforms an existing building to provide comfort, better urban integration and shared spaces.
The original building is split in two parts: the bottom one is adapted and opened along the main road, while the upper one is modelled to facilitate views over the city of Milan almost at 360º. It also integrates a vegetated grid, creating what could look like a floating garden in the city.
For intimacy and energy efficiency, our Premium Plus with a Polyscreen® 351 or a Blackout fabric are strategically placed in the reception hall, kitchen blocks and bedrooms. The Polyscreen® offers acoustic quality and intimacy with its an openness factor of 1%, while the blackout provides occultation at night.
